Our Mission and Values

Literacy development is essential to student academic achievement and success in life. We have devoted our work to partnering with educational leaders, administrators, and community leaders to ensure that all children are proficient readers, critical thinkers, problem solvers, and decision-makers.

Learners are at the heart of our purpose and practice. The goal of all coaching and consulting is to engage students in authentic and stimulating learning experiences. Student motivation, interests, and engagement, with resources that offer mirrors, windows, sliding doors, and access to diverse experiences, partner with critical reading, writing, and thinking skills support literacy development, growth, and achievement.

Our Work

We dedicate our consulting and coaching to three key areas of leadership: strategic planning, professional development, and literacy development. Strategic planning views the system and uses methods of analysis to determine the strengths of the current structure in light of research supported practices and student achievement. Professional Development provides the job-embedded, sustained and ongoing learning educators are committed to study and integrate into their daily practice. Literacy Development is the reading, writing, listening, speaking, and thinking instruction and learning necessary to ensure that every child has access to texts of all kinds and can communicate effectively in real world situations. We partner with teachers and leaders to create visionary plans and guide the development and implementation over time.
